A2P Brand and Campaign Registration


This is a one-time Click IT CRM startup expense to cover our cost of registering A2P (a new regulation) for a new phone number used for communications and marketing tracking purposes.

On September 1st, 2023, all the SMS messages from the CRM that use local and mobile phone numbers in the USA will stop working if we have not completed the A2P 10DLC Registration Approval Process on your behalf.

This is a mandatory compliance / regulatory requirement by The Campaign Registry and enforced by carriers like AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, ClearSky, etc.
Sending SMS and MMS with A2P 10DLC
A2P 10DLC refers to a system that allows businesses to send Application-to-Person (A2P) type messaging via standard 10-digit long code (10DLC) phone numbers. 10DLC is mandatory for certain businesses. If your company sends long-code A2P messaging, you must switch to 10DLC messaging. Each brand will need individual registration, which means businesses may not group together similar campaigns in one registration.

Click IT completes the registration for you in your Twilio or LG Phone account, depending on how your text messaging (SMS) has been set up inside your CRM.
