Website Email Delivery Assurance
$5.00 – $2,046.35
A new problem in managing websites has popped up. Emails sent from a server sometimes fail to be delivered, getting blocked by an obscure, unseen relay server when you least expect it. The email that was sent from the mail server leaves properly, such as from a filled out and submitted WordPress form, but never gets delivered to the website owner as it once had been. Suddenly, these types of emails just vanish. The problem stems from the email Gods deciding to make email delivery follow stricter rules, such as the website domain must match the email a form email delivers to, and domain reputation influencing whether or not the email gets delivered. This is now a serious problem.
At Click IT, as managers, we have come up with a solution. We can implement what we call WEDA (website email deliverability service) to fix this problem so we can guarantee a smooth email delivery service from web servers without issues or spam flagging. Once this service is set up, we will regularly monitor and maintain email deliverability, conduct weekly checks, and receive reports if something goes awry. We do this for our customers on a bulk basis. This service is subscription-based with a small annual renewal fee, but you can opt-out and only have us set this service up for you for a one-time fee if you prefer.
Please note: Your website’s email volume can not surpass this plan’s allocation of 5,000 monthly emails. Your Website Email Delivery Assurance (WEDA) Plan will be upgraded and billed accordingly if it does.
Email delivery has grown increasingly complex in today’s digital environment. The tech industry is constantly working to combat threats like ransomware, which primarily spread through email.
Your website relies on a remote email delivery server separate from your domain’s resolution location and is experiencing email delivery problems.
Our team has devised a series of tasks to address the issue. This problem mainly arises when the admin email address in your WordPress settings employs a remote server for sending emails. It’s vital that the sending email address and the originating website share the same domain; otherwise, spam filters may block the email, preventing it from reaching its destination.
Many web servers also encounter email delivery difficulties, particularly when emails originate from web forms. This issue is especially common for WordPress sites running on cPanel. To resolve this problem, we take several steps. First, we integrate carefully selected and tested plugins into the WordPress website. Next, we verify the domain’s DNS records and configure the correct SMTP delivery settings.
A key cPanel setting also needs adjustment. To enhance email delivery, we modify your cPanel’s Email Routing by switching between “Local Mail Exchanger” and “Remote Mail Exchanger.” This lesser-known issue affects both cPanel and WordPress. After toggling and saving these settings, we test email delivery to ensure that web form data is properly sent.
We now offer this comprehensive solution as a service for our website clients. If Click IT manages and hosts your website and handles your email delivery, you are eligible to add our Website Email Delivery Solution (WEDS) to your list of services.
Implementing our solution is crucial for successful email delivery.
We have found that Mailgun.com and its WordPress plugin offer an excellent email delivery solution for WordPress SMTP contact forms. The $35 per month plan, which includes 50,000 emails and the option to add multiple domains using a subdomain like “dispatch.yourwebsitedomain.com,” is ideal for managing our customers’ website domains.
*Please Note: To implement the Website Email Delivery Assurance (WEDA), your website must have been built and managed by Click IT at https://clickithosting.com, and you must be subscribed to at least our Bronze-level Website Care plan.) Additionally, your website’s domain must be hosted at https://clickithosting.com; otherwise, we cannot manage this service. To prevent future issues, we may also recommend that customers subscribe to our Email Authentication Services.
